Randoe Suriname was established in 1954 by Mr. G.A. Dilweg. Originally, Randoe operated as a mattress factory, utilizing Java kapok imported from Indonesia to fill the mattresses. The Java kapok, derived from the Randoe tree, belongs to the same tree family as the well-known Kankantrie tree found in Suriname.
While we still manufacture mattresses in all sizes, our growth has led us to become a premier furniture manufacturer specializing in Amazonian solid timber sourced from Suriname. The use of natural wood ensures that each item crafted by our factory is truly one-of-a-kind.
To maintain the highest standards, the timber we work with is meticulously dried in our state-of-the-art kilns. We then meticulously process and assemble the pieces using premium hardware imported from Europe. Our wooden products receive their exquisite finish in our professional lacquer spray rooms, where we expertly apply matte lacquer, gloss lacquer, wood stain, and lacquer paint. The final touch is provided by our upholstery division, bringing an added element of elegance.
Our exclusive collection, showcasing furniture designed by Randoe, is available for sale in our showroom. Furthermore, our store offers a selection of imported decor, lamps, rugs, custom-made curtains, and various other exquisite furnishings.
Beyond our standard offerings, we take pride in crafting custom-made furniture, tailoring each piece to the unique desires of our customers. Additionally, we provide comprehensive furniture repair and refurbishment services, including specialized expertise in refurbishing antique pieces.
